February 8, 2022 By Mikel Leave a Comment

Law school is a significant financial commitment, especially for those who attend a less distinguished public university program. Tuition prices, like those of medical school, are among the highest of any type of higher education. Having said that, even the most prominent law schools in the United States have their highs and lows. Harvard University is ranked ninth in terms of expense despite being ranked third in terms of quality by U.S. News & World Report. Yale University Law School, the number one law school on that list, does not feature among the top ten most expensive law schools.

The following is a list of the ten law schools that charged the highest tuition for the 2020-2021 school year. Unranked colleges were not included for this study since they did not meet certain criteria necessary by US News to be numerically ranked.

#10. University of Virginia

The University of Virginia is the list’s sole public institution, a dubious distinction. Naturally, it is the only institution on the list that was established by Thomas Jefferson.
